Curriculum

The school curriculum refers to a planned set of educational experiences provided to a learner by a school and encompasses general objectives of learning, courses of study, subject-wise instructional objectives and content, pedagogical practices and assessment guidelines.

Pre- Primary Curriculum

Education with a happy moment is achieved only because of our belief and focus on making Vedant International School a home place for kindergarten where we keep our children at the centre of learning. Our commitment to enhancing the young minds with teaching practices that focus not only on academics but also gradually inculcate among the toddlers the basics of a sound academic base, moral values, respect towards our country and kindness. The emphasis is on the overall growth, well grooming our little angels and strengthening them with a positive attitude to see the world. We prepare students for regular school in a play way manner.

Primary School Curriculum

The aim of the Primary school curriculum at VIS is to ensure that all children are provided with learning opportunities that recognise and celebrate their uniqueness and develop their full potential. The focus is on the child as a learner, and the use of a variety of teaching methodologies is an essential feature of the curriculum. Once the foundation of learning is established in the primary classes, they are further nurtured with required academic rigour in order to prepare them for the upcoming challenges.

Secondary and Higher Secondary School Curriculum

We inspire students with the spirit of continuous inquire with the hope that they become critical thinkers, are able to communicate and face emerging challenges in life boldly. The curriculum for this phase focuses on the career building of a student apart from academic achievements

કે.જી & સિ.કે.જી

જુ.કે.જી & સિ.કે.જી માં ગુજરાતી,અંગ્રેજી,ગણિત,ચિત્રકામ,સામન્ય જ્ઞાન, ગીત/સંગીત/વાર્તા, હસ્તકલા, જીવનવ્યવહાર, ઇન્દ્રિયશક્ષણ જેવા વિષયો અભ્યાસક્રમમાં લેવામાં આવેલ છે.આ વિષયો વિધાર્થીઓને પ ઇન્ડોર -આઉટ ડોર એક્ટીવીટી દ્રારા શીખવાડવામાં આવે છે. જેથી બાળકો ગમ્મત સાથે જ્ઞાન મળી રહે.

ધો-૧ થી પ

ધો -૧ થી પ માં ગુજરાતી, અંગ્રેજી, પર્યાવરણઅને હિન્દી જેવા મુખ્ય વિષય અભ્યાસક્રમમાં લેવામાં આવેલ છે. આ વિષયો વિધાર્થીને વિવિધ ઓડિયો- વિડિયો માધ્યમ વિવિધઇન્ડોર - ઓઉટડોર ગેમ તેમજ સહ અભ્યાસિક પ્રવૃત્તિ દ્રારા શીખવામાં આવે છે જેથી બાળકોને અભ્યાસમાં ઉત્સાહ અને રસ - રૂચિ જળવાય રહે.

ધો-૬ થી ૧૦

ધો - ૬ થી ૧૦ માં ગુજરાતી,હિન્દી,અંગ્રેજી,સંસ્કૃત,વિજ્ઞાન,ગણિત,સામાજીક વિજ્ઞાન જેવા મુખ્ય વિષયો અભ્યાસક્રમમાં લેવામાં આવેલ છે.આ ઉપરાંત કમ્પ્યુટર,ફોઇંગ,પી.ટી.,જેવા ગૌણ વિષયો પણ અભ્યાસક્રમમાં લેવામાં આવેલ છે. આ વિષયો વિધાર્થીઓને જીવનમાં તેમજ આગાઉના ધોરણમાં ઉપયોગી બને તે માટે વિવિધ સહઅભ્યાસિક પ્રવૃત્તિ,પ્રોજેક્ટ વર્ક તેમજ ઓ ડિયો - વિડીયો માધ્યમ વડે શીખવવામાં આવે છે.

ધો-૧૧ થી ૧ર

ધો-૧૧ થી ૧૨ ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક વિભાગમાં (કોમસી એકાઉન્ટ,સ્ટેટ,બી.એ.ઇકોનોમિક,અંગ્રેજી,એસ.પી.,ગુજરાતી જેવા મુખ્ય વિષયો શીખવવામાં આવે છે.વિધાર્થીઓ આ વિષયોને જીવન ઉપયોગી નીવડે તે રીતે પ્રેક્ટીકલ તેમજ પ્રોજેક્ટ વર્ક વિવિધ સહઅભ્યાસિક પ્રવૃત્તિદ્રારા શીખવવામાં આવે છે.
